Pokémon Sleep was announced during the March 2023 Pokémon Presents broadcast. A mobile game/app, Sleep revolves around, well, sleeping. Players will work to build up their Sleep Style Dex where they will collect Pokémon based on the type of sleep they engage in. If you fancy to know more, The Pokemon Company recently put out a new trailer and let fans know that the game will be launching later this month. Take a look:
Here’s a bit more detail about what to expect once the game launches:
How to Play Pokémon Sleep
To play Pokémon Sleep, players place their smartphone device or Pokémon GO Plus + by their pillow and go to sleep. When they wake up, they can check the results of the sleep tracking, study the sleep styles of the Pokémon that have appeared, and work together with Pokémon sleep researcher Professor Neroli to record them in the Sleep Style Dex. The more sleep players get, and the bigger Snorlax becomes, the more Pokémon they can meet, and the more sleep styles they’ll be able to discover. Players can also raise Snorlax during the day.
Pokémon Sleep categorizes sleep three ways: Dozing, Snoozing, and Slumbering. Depending on which category of sleep the player has engaged in during a given night, Pokémon with the same sleep style will gather around Snorlax in-game and the player can give them Poké Biscuits to recruit them as helpers. Players will utilize Drowsy Power to raise their Snorlax, as well. Coupled with the Pokémon GO Plus+ device, users will also be able to recruit a night cap-wearing Pikachu and also interact with the Pokémon GO game, too.
