After weeks of rumors, The Pokémon Company has officially announced Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! for Nintendo Switch. As rumored, the latest Pokémon titles will feature compatibility with Pokémon Go and a new quest that takes place in the Kanto region. We’ve embedded the game’s exciting new trailer below!
Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! will release alongside a Pokéball accessory, which will apparently allow fans to take their Pokémon on the go. The twin titles will still include Pokémon battles, however, wild Pokémon encounters will not feature combat. Fans disappointed by that fact, as well as the fact that the game will take place in Kanto rather than a new region, can take heart in another exciting bit of news: another Pokémon RPG will also release on Switch in the second half of 2019! This title will more closely follow the style of games like X and Y and Sun and Moon.
Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee! will release worldwide on November 16. Let us know what you think of the new title in the comments below!
