Fans of Picross take heart, as developer Jupiter is bringing a second installment to the Switch eShop. Picross S2 is coming to Switch Thursday, August 2. The game is confirmed for Japan and should also be arriving in other territories that day, as well.
For those not in the know, Picross is similar to Sudoku, but the end goal is to fill in squares to create pixel-based images. It’s an immensely fun puzzler that requires some brainpower to get through, so if you’ve never played it before, this is a good time to get on the hype train. Jupiter is introducing a new mode called Clip Picross that allows the player to collect pieces that combine into a larger image.
