After a rocky digital launch and a delay to the physical release of the game, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition is finally coming in all its plastic and boxed glory this February. The launch date is 02.11.22 and it will require a download in order to access the full game. Here’s the announcement:

The exact size and nature of the download remains nebulous—it has typically been the case that compilations of this ilk on Switch come with one game on the cart and the others as downloads, or partial data for each game and the remainder requiring installation. When we learn the exact nature of the download for Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, we’ll let you know.
