The original Onimusha game has been available on Nintendo Switch for some time now. If you enjoyed that particular adventure, or a longtime fan of the series, Netflix might have just the thing for you. The streaming giant is putting together an anime adaptation of Onimusha featuring quite a roster of talented creators. Here are some images:

Takashi Miike (Audition, Ichi the Killer, 13 Assassins, and more besides) is one of the talents attached to the project, alongside Shinya Sugai, another prolific face in the world of anime. The quality of the animation and story will be the ultimate determining factor of Onimusha’s quality, but with hits like Netflix’s Castlevania series, it might be safe to hope for something fun once the anime finally releases.
