Digerati and JoyMasher have teamed up to bring Oniken: Unstoppable Edition and Odallus: The Dark Call to Nintendo Switch on February 8.
Oniken will be 20% off in the eShop when it launches, and purchasing it will get you 10% off of Odallus. A bundle containing physical copies of both games (as well as CDs with the games’ soundtracks) is also coming to retailer Play-Asia, though a release date has yet to be announced for this.
Oniken: Unstoppable Edition is an action-platformer that takes heavy inspiration from the games and movies of the 80s, which really comes out in its graphics, music, gameplay difficulty, and story. You play as Zaku, a ninja mercenary that offers his services to a small rebel group organizing a strike against Oniken, an evil military organization that has oppressed the remaining survivors of a global war that’s nearly wiped out mankind. He is the resistance’s only hope in rising up against Oniken.
Meanwhile, Odallus: The Dark Call is an action-exploration game inspired by Ghosts ‘n Goblins, Demon’s Crest, and Castlevania. It’s set in a land forgotten by the old gods, where Darkness has begun to spread and collect human souls for its army. You play as Haggis, a battle-weary warrior who must take up his sword once more to save his son from Darkness.
Will you be adding Oniken and/or Odallus to you Switch library? Do you have your eye on the bundle with the games and soundtracks? Let us know in the comments.
