Considering the damage swords, spears, and other melee weapons are capable of, most weapons-based fighters aren’t very realistic. One Strike hopes to remedy this lack of realism by giving each of its characters only one hit worth of health before suffering a bloody death.
Coming from QubicGames, One Strike features a cast of six characters from medieval Japan and each is equipped with period appropriate weapons with varying levels of speed and range. Given the nature of the game, a strong defense with well-timed parries is just as important as a strong offense. One Hit will sell for $4.99, however owners of other QubicGames releases, Robonauts, Astro Bears Party or Pirates: All Aboard!, will get a 50 percent discount.
