The Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, New York is an internationally lauded institution. Every year since 2015 the museum has inducted video games into its World Video Game Hall of Fame. For 2022, the class included arguably one of the greatest games ever made: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

The 1998 Nintendo 64 classic would seem a shoe in to be among the games in the Strong’s hall of fame, but better late than never we always say. Ocarina of Time is renowned for its advancements in gameplay, including its pioneering lock-on mechanics, contextual button inputs, and cinematic storytelling. The game is joined by Ms. Pac-Man, Sid Meier’s Civilization, and Dance Dance Revolution.
