This week’s Nintendo downloads have something for everyone, from the frantic minigame madness of WarioWare: Smooth Moves, to RPG action courtesy of Dragon Quest VII, to the frenzy and swaths of enemies in Noitu Love: Devolution. Let’s get into some of what we have to choose from this week.
Wii U eShop
Noitu Love: Devolution – $9.99 – If 16-bit Treasure games, run-and-gun action, and lots of explosions is your thing, then it sounds like Noitu Love: Devolution is going to be your thing, too. Oh yeah, and robots, lots of robots.
Wii U Virtual Console
WarioWare: Smooth Moves – $19.99 – Whether you’ve loved WarioWare since it’s GBA beginnings or you’re not yet familiar with the series’ bizarre, quirky, and often extremely hilarious minigames that give you only seconds to complete ridiculous objectives, like balancing a broom on your palm or slicing an oil drum in half with a katana, now would be a great time (at a great price) to bring some zany into your life and onto your Wii U.
3DS eShop
Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past – $39.99 – If you didn’t get to play the original Dragon Quest VII on the PlayStation back in 2000 or if you really loved it and want to revisit it, you can download this remake that breathes new life into the classic title.
