Last week, Nintendo released the 2DS XL, a rather sleek remodel of the 2DS hardware. Despite the fact that the Switch has proven rather successful, Nintendo hasn’t forgotten their previous handheld. In fact, today, the company announced a new bundle for the original 2DS hardware, this time including New Super Mario Bros. 2 as a pre-installed title!
The Bundle will release August 25 at a price point of $79.99. Nintendo also announced updated release dates for a pair of titles for the platform family. Monster Hunter Stories will release in North America on September 8, while Yo-Kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters will release September 29 in North America and Europe.
