Nintendo is generally known for taking their sweet time with games, often announcing major titles years before they eventually see the light of day (Metroid Prime 4, anyone?). However, every so often they’ll throw a random title on the eShop with little to no preamble, and that’s exactly what’s happened with The Stretchers.
The new title is a co-op focused experience in which players work together as an ambulance crew, rushing out to collect injured people to be taken back to the hospital. However, its style and gameplay seems to focus on a much quirkier take on the medical profession. If anything, it looks like’s a mix between crazy taxi and a strange party game.
The Stretchers is available now for download from the eShop for $19.99.
