Well this is a little different—we’re getting a two-for-one deal on Nintendo Directs tomorrow. First, starting at 7 AM PST, there will be an Indie World Showcase. Then, immediately after that, we’ll get a Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase. Here’s the announcement, which Nintendo made via its official X account:
Join us tomorrow, August 27 at 7am PT, for an #IndieWorld Showcase followed by a #NintendoDirect Partner Showcase! The livestream, featuring both presentations back-to-back, will be roughly 40 minutes in total.

The back-to-back broadcasts are anticipated to last roughly 40 minutes. Nintendo did follow up this post with the following just to keep expectations in check, however:
Please note, there will be no mention of the Nintendo Switch successor during either of these presentations.

So, no news on Switch 2, in case you thought this might be the announcement that Nintendo has been promising.
