Secret of Mana will be fairly recognizable to most SNES fans; the classic RPG was a cult favorite, after all, and was even recently remade for PlayStation 4 and Vita. That 1993 title, however, was followed up by a lesser-known sequel in 1995 called Seiken Densetsu 3. It was similar to Secret of Mana except that it boasted a selectable roster of six heroes with divergent storylines depending on which characters were selected over the course of the game.
Flash-forward to E3 2019 and Seiken Densetsu 3 was renamed Trials of Mana and revealed as coming to Nintendo Switch. The only question was, when? The answer has been revealed: April 29, 2020! Initially a vague early 2020 launch window had been penciled in, but fans can now officially circle 04.29 on their calendars. Are you aboard for Trials of Mana?
