The Internet has been bandying about the notion that Nintendo had completed work on the rumored Pikmin 4 many moons ago and has been sitting on the game ever since. While there’s no confirmation that this is true, what is now known for sure is that Pikmin 4 is indeed a thing, and it’s coming next year. Take a tiny peek:
Alas, no gameplay was revealed, but it was said during the recent Nintendo Direct broadcast where the game was revealed that player’s will be able to see things from the perspective of the nominal worker bees this time around. Nintendo is also promising an overhauled, simplified control scheme. There’s no word on when in 2023 to expect Pikmin 4, but as soon as we hear more, so too shall you.
