Nintendo Switch has been the subject of many, many rumors over the years, but none have been quite so persistent as word that the Persona series would be coming to the console. During the most recent Nintendo Direct Mini broadcast, that rumor finally became fact. The trio of Persona 5 Royal, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 3 Portable will all be coming to Switch. The first, Persona 5 Royal, launches on October 21.
The other two, Persona 4 and Persona 3, don’t have firm release dates, but are anticipated to launch in 2023. Persona 5 is likely at least passingly familiar to Switch owners thanks to the presence of Joker in Super Sash Bros. Ultimate and Persona 5 Strikers, but now the real deal game is at last on its way.
