Devil May Cry is one of the marquee series over at Capcom; an astounding feat considering it started life as a version of Resident Evil 4, back in the day. Since then, DMC has become a juggernaut franchise in its own right and spawned four sequels. The first Devil May Cry recently launched on Nintendo Switch and now word has come that the sequel will be hot on its heels! The game is anticipated to drop on September 19 and can be pre-purchased in the eShop right now.
Are you ready? Devil May Cry 2 is coming to #NintendoSwitch, featuring 2 playable characters, Dante & Lucia, the first ever Bloody Palace and more!

Like DMC, DMC 2 has been updated with HD visuals and the benefit of now being portable for the first time thanks to the hybrid nature of Switch. That said… DMC 2 is also one of the most controversial entries in the series due to a lower difficulty level and a more restrained Dante, among other issues. Still, it’s not a bad game by any stretch of the imagination and fans looking for more Devil May Cry action should look forward to seeing how DMC 2 holds up 16 years after its release.
