Hot on the heels of Astral Chain comes another new Nintendo series: Daemon X Machina. The mech game sees players cast as mercenaries in a world plunged into apocalypse by the destruction of the moon. Chunks of the celestial body called Femto have been granting strange abilities to any who touch them. Now, players must fight against a corrupted race of machines called Immortals.
All some very cool sounding stuff and it’s coming from one of the masterminds behind the Armored Core series. For those who would still like to sample Daemon X Machina before it launches on September 13 there’s a special Prologue Demo available right now in the eShop. Not only does it support local multiplayer, it also will allow the player to carry over their save data into the full game. Not bad for a freebie. Note that the full game has online multiplayer; this is just a limitation for the demo.
