Ironically, we had just reported on Hideki Kamiya stating that he wished he could show off Bayonetta 3 but that ultimately the choice wasn’t up to him. Well, Nintendo apparently decided the time was now and finally, after four years, has shown off Bayonetta 3 during its latest Direct broadcast. You can check it out right here:
Along with Bayonetta’s new look in the game, this trailer showed off a new mechanic: Bayonetta can directly control demons this time around. There are all sorts of delightful gameplay possibilities that this opens up. As for when we’ll actually get to try out Bayonetta 3, Nintendo has offered a nebulous 2022 release window. When that firmly solidifies, you’ll be the first to know!
