Get ready for a new way to interact with Pikmin. The popular creatures of the nominal series are set for a new adventure, one in which they appear to be invading the real world around us. Announced by Nintendo, this new Pikmin game appears to be a mobile title that will drop some time later this year:
What would it be like to have a more fun walking experience surrounded by #Pikmin? In a new mobile app developed by @NianticLabs and Nintendo coming later in 2021, explore the real world and create memories with your Pikmin friends.

The app is being developed Niantic Labs. That name should be familiar to Pocket Monsters fans, as its the developer of Pokémon GO, the immensely popular and enjoyable mobile game. There’s not much else to say about this Pikmin title, but as we learn more we’ll continue to update here on Nintendojo.
