In what has become a regular offering from Nintendo, the company gave yet another Nindie Showcase presentation this afternoon, showing off a ton of games headed to Switch. From unique and quirky new titles to popular ports and even a title based off a major TV series, today’s presentation had a lot to offer!

Things kicked things off with the announcement of Cuphead, the popular Xbox One title. The critically-acclaimed game will arrive April 18, thanks, in part, to Nintendo’s burgeoning relationship with Microsoft. Fans will find the game features gorgeous visuals and a stiff challenge. Once all DLC has been released, the title will receive a physical version.

Revealed at The Game Awards, Stranger Things Season 3: The Game got a hefty amount of focus during today’s presentation. After all, today’s Nindies Showcase began just hours after the release of a trailer for the new season on Netflix, and both will launch on the same day this summer. The co-op adventure title features an isometric perspective and the ability to play as multiple characters from the popular series.

Blaster Master Zero has proven to be one of Switch’s bigger indie hits, and fans will be excited to know that they won’t have to wait any longer for a sequel; it’s available today! Blaster Master Zero 2 gives players multiple planets to visit this time around.

While Timberline Studios has yet to achieve the same kind of name recognition of other indie developers, their debut title certainly looks promising. The Red Lantern is a story-based adventure game centered on a character that moves to Alaska to raise an Iditarod team. The title will feature roguelike elements and Joy-Con gyro controls when it arrives later this year.

It wouldn’t be a Nintendo Direct without a big announcement to close things out. A sequel to Crypt of the NecroDancer will appear on Switch. The original title boasted roguelike elements and rhythm-based gameplay. While a sequel would be exciting either way, the new title brings the adventure to Hyrule, alongside Link and Zelda as playable characters! Cadence of Hyrule – Crypt of the NecroDancer will arrive on Switch this May.

Of course, these are just a handful of today’s announcements. Rad, Katana Zero, Darkwood, Creature in the Well and several more games were also featured, and should help bolster Switch’s already impressive library of indie hits. We’ll have much more on these games in the coming days. In the meantime, let us know what you thought of today’s Nindie Showcase in the comments below!
