EA Confirms NBA JAM Disc Release For Xbox 360 and PS3.
While it is good that now more gamers will be able to experience the new NBA JAM, the news will seriously hurt the sales of the Wii version of the game. Had the title only been released digitally, as it was originally supposed to be, the Wii version would have been the only one at retail. However, with a disc release for the other two home systems, consumers with a Wii and another home console have little to no reason to get the Wii version. The 360 and PS3 versions will include everything from the Wii version and online play. What was another reason to own a Wii has turned into one more reason not to get one.
