Next Pokémon Movie Appears to be Going Old-School

Pokémon’s long-running anime will be hitting its own milestone next summer when it turns 20 years old, and all signs seem to be pointing toward a return to the series’ roots. The next Pokémon movie, roughly translated to Pocket Monster the Movie: I Choose You!, can be seen in the teaser trailer below:

Nice hat! It’s also a bit of a hint toward this return to the old-school, as it looks a lot like Ash’s first hat that he wore back when the Pokémon anime debuted. Keep it tuned to Nintendojo, as we’ll be updating with more news about the film once we get more information about it!
