Rise: Race the Future is a fun arcade racing game that came to Nintendo Switch back in 2018. It has shades of Ridge Racer, both in terms of the spirit of its drifting mechanics as well as its gorgeous, dreamy race tracks. While it already looked really good on Switch, developer VD-Dev has released a new update to make Rise run even better. Version 1.5 is live and brings the following changes and tweaks:
- New Render Engine
- 60 FPS
- Improved graphics
- Advanced CPU optimization
- New shaders
- Global Data Compression
- Main Menu at 60 FPS
- Improved Italian language
All of these things are available free of charge, so if you’ve yet to download the game or already own it, this improved version of Rise will be available to everyone. Definitely give it a look if you’ve been craving some speed on your Switch!
