Liar Princess and the Blind PrinceĀ is coming to Nintendo Switch on May 31 and Nippon Ichi Software has shared a new trailer ahead of the game’s release.
Its charming, storybook-inspired art style is perfect for this fantasy tale that tells the story of a blind prince that is attracted to the sound of a beautiful singing voice, but doesn’t know that the voice belongs to a shapeshifting monster that often takes on the form of a wolf. The monster accidentally swipes at and injures the prince after he approaches the monster, which leaves the monster feeling remorseful.
The monster chooses to trade its singing voice for the ability to transform into a black haired princess and then takes on the task of guiding the prince through the forest to see a witch who will grant wishes in exchange for some sort of compensation. The monster hopes to help the prince heal his eyes.
Both the monster and princess have their own unique abilities — for example, transforming into the monster will enable you to fight enemies.
