Nintendo and Microsoft continue their newfound partnership with another example of cross-platform support, as Blue Mammoth Games has announced that Brawlhalla now supports cross-play between Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.

According to a statement put out by the developer on the game’s official site, “there are actually no restrictions between Nintendo Switch and Xbox One players now. Players on both consoles can matchmake against each other in all online queues and can join each other’s lobbies.”

The developer has said that there will now be faster queue times for Xbox One and Switch, and players of the free-to-play fighter will be matched with other players of a similar skill level across platforms. Blue Mammoth says cross-play was implemented to remove barriers between players and improve the overall Brawlhalla experience.

Do you play Brawlhalla on Switch? Will you be taking advantage of the new Switch-Xbox One cross-play support? Let us know in the comments.
