While Nintendo has been relatively slow to bring its celebrated backlog of classics to Switch, with most being relegated to NES games released as part of their online service, Sega has made an effort to help fill that retro gap. So far, the publisher has released a handful of arcade, Master System, and Genesis games under their Sega Ages brand, and those offerings will soon expand with six more titles that were announced this past weekend.
Most of the revealed titles come from arcade releases, and they are: Shinobi, Wonder Boy in Monster Land, Fantasy Zone, Puzzle & Action: Tant R, and G-LOC: Air Battle. They’ll be joined by a single Genesis game, Herzog Zwei.
Unfortunately, no release date was given during the announcement so stay tuned over the coming weeks and months for more information.
