Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens has piqued the interests of quite a few fans since it was announced. After all, developer TT Games has been making its Lego-centric adventures for years now, and though some folks have felt fatigue with the series’ core formula, general consensus is that any new Lego title is something worth getting excited over. The Force Awakens was a monster hit in theaters, reigniting interest in the franchise, so it’s only natural that the Lego adaptation has some high expectations being placed on it.
In an effort to keep things interesting, however, TT is spicing up Lego The Force Awakens with a bevy of new and improved features. For one, there are some third-person shooter elements being mixed in, which should make shootouts a little more interesting for seasoned players. The dogfights in this game also appear to be veering away from the traditional on-rails experience that the series is known for. Finally, fans can also look forward to new multifaceted brick building, with the ability to choose between different shaped constructs for puzzle solving. As the trailer shows, Lego The Force Awakens might be shaping up to be a return to form for the series in video games as well as theaters. Keep it posted to Nintendojo for all the latest on the game!

I’ve never missed Factor 5 as much as I do right now. Or Sculptured Software. Or whoever made Shadows of the Empire on N64.
That said, I know a lot of people love Lego games, and this one sounds as promising as can be. May it turn out great and find lots of happy fans.
