Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope is barreling towards its October 20 release date. While that’s exciting in and of itself, Nintendo and developer Ubisoft have announced that, like its predecessor Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Sparks of Hope is going to be getting a season pass. This means more content will be getting added on down the road and if it’s anything like Kingdom Battle’s Donkey Kong Adventure DLC, that’s a good thing. However, while the promise of new heroes, story content, and battles is great, there’s a more economical way of getting your hands on it all: the Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope Gold Edition:

The Gold Edition provides the whole game, all of the Season Pass DLC, and a bonus Galactic Prestige Pack comprises of three exclusive weapons for your team that can be used right from the outset of the adventure. Although it’s unknown what to expect from Sparks of Hope’s Season Pass, one thing that stands out in the promotional image for it is an unmistakable nod to the Super Mario Galaxy games. What could this mean? Nothing? Something? We’ll find out soon, and when we do you’ll be the first to know!
