Who had this one on their 2025 bingo card? Although it’s perhaps not too surprising that Nintendo has finally unearthed on of its SNES mouse games given Switch 2’s mouse controls. That’s right, folks—if DK Artist wasn’t enough for you in Donkey Kong Bananza, now you have another artistic outlet to utilize in the form of Mario Paint. This 1992 SNES game is beloved by those who played it for its quirky gameplay, unique suite of creative tools, and more. Take a look:

in case it slipped past you in the blurb above, you’ll need either a Joy-Con 2 mouse to play, or if you’re on an original Nintendo Switch, you can use a conventional USB mouse. Interestingly, you can also use mouse controls now for Mario Super Picross as well as Nobunaga’s Ambition. As ever, if you’d like to play, you’ll need to have an active paid Nintendo Switch Online membership. From there, you can download and play Mario Paint all you’d like.
