MAR10 Day is March 10 every year, and as ever Nintendo has a bunch of fun stuff planned to celebrate the character and franchise. First off, some sales. Starting March 9, retailers will be offering the following Super Mario series games at a discount:

  • Mario Kart 8 Deluxe ($39.99)
  • Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury ($39.99)

Be sure to check out GameStop, Best Buy, Walmart, and Target if you’re interested. Now, take a look at this:

JetBlue and Nintendo have debuted a new Airbus A320 Restyled aircraft covered in Super Mario Bros.-themed livery. Dubbed the Cloudtop Cruiser (a name that would totally befitting of a Mario game), the seatback entertainment touch screens will also feature Mario and friends on the welcome screens of each device. The friendly skies are a whole lot friendlier thanks to this collaboration.

Fans can also join the My Nintendo Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Community Challenge for an opportunity to earn 310 My Nintendo Platinum Points. Between March 7 and March 17, players will try to collectively finish one million combined laps in the game. Even if you participate for just one lap, you will be eligible to receive the Platinum Points if players hit this milestone. Enter the tournament code 1152-2501-4827 to get participate.

Here are the finer details:

  • Mode: 150cc Race
  • Teams: No Teams
  • Items: Normal Items
  • COM: Normal COM
  • Vehicles: All Vehicles
  • Smart Steering: Smart Steering OK
  • Race Count: No Limit
  • Group Shuffling: Every 4th Match

If you’d like to participate but don’t have an active Nintendo Switch Online membership, hit up this link and get a 14-day free trial.

Alarmo is finally hitting retailers starting March 9. It has an MSRP of $99.99 and is (as we detailed when it was announced) a digital alarm clock stuffed with Nintendo charm. It boasts motion sensor technology, special Nintendo-themed chimes and animations, and more. It will be available for purchase through GameStop, Best Buy, Walmart, and Target.

My Nintendo is also offering fans a chance to enter a sweepstakes for a trip to Super Nintendo World. Four lucky people will get to spend four nights with the following accommodations:

  • Round trip airfare to Orlando, Florida
  • Accommodations at Universal Terra Luna Resort or other Universal Orlando Resort hotel
  • Accommodations at Universal Terra Luna Resort
  • Admission to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and Universal
  • Volcano Bay water theme park, plus 1-day at Universal Epic Universe

Plunk down ten Platinum Points and you’ll be entered for a chance to win. Just hit up this link.

Whew! Talk about a lot of Mario stuff to dig into! Be sure to let us know how you plan to celebrate below and on social media.
