Magin: The Rat Project Stories Looking To Bring Narrative-Driven Deck Building To Switch

Deck building games have become a common part of the industry, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for more. Particularly when they attempt to mix in an ambitious narrative, as well. Take a gander at Magin: The Rat Project Stories, which is currently seeking crowdfunding via Kickstarter:

So, what exactly is Magin: The Rat Project Stories? Polish outfit The Rat Project, which is developing the game, describes it as “a narrative-driven, adventure role-playing game with deck-building mechanics.” The story is nonlinear and presented with a visual style reminiscent of comic books. There’s a demo available to try right now on Steam, with the final build being envisioned for consoles—including Nintendo Switch.

As of this writing, Magin: The Rat Project Stories has generated $14,784 of the $47,503 being sought in order to jump start development.
