In just over a year’s time, the Switch eShop has accumulated an impressive number of critically-acclaimed titles. With Nintendo’s latest system proving to be a major success, publishers and developers have quickly tried to get their biggest titles on the platform, and the result is a number of impressive indie options. Digixart’s Lost in Harmony: The Musical Odyssey is the latest such title, and Switch owners will likely find plenty of reasons to be excited about its arrival!
Originally released on iOS in 2016, Lost in Harmony is both a rhythm game and a runner, tasking players with skateboarding through 13 music-filled levels. Players take on the role of a teenager named Kaito, as he attempts to save his friend Aya, who he carries on his back. During their journey, the pair travel through more than 30 hand-drawn locations, including futuristic cities and outer space, while attempting to stay in harmony with the music. The game’s soundtrack contains a mix of classical compositions and newer selections, including a track from Wyclef Jean.
The mobile version of Lost in Harmony received a number of accolades, with many reviewers praising the game’s deep storyline and unique soundtrack. Naturally, the new version will incorporate some Switch-specific features, including touchscreen support and HD Rumble.
Lost in Harmony: The Musical Odyssey will release on Switch June 21! Stay tuned to Nintendojo for more information as its release date approaches!
