The year of legendary Pokémon is almost over, but there’s still a number of them waiting for their moment in the spotlight. September is the time for Latios and Latias to shine, as they’re the next legendaries available for download in Pokémon Ultra Sun, Pokémon Ultra Moon, Pokémon Sun, and Pokémon Moon!
From September 2 through September 29, one of the two Dragon- and Psychic- types can be redeemed at participating Best Buy stores. Latios will be available to Ultra Moon and Moon players, with the following stats, depending on which version of the game you download it to:
- Pokémon Ultra Moon
- Level: 100
- Ability: Levitate
- Held Item: Gold Bottle Cap
- Moves: Luster Purge, Psychic, Draco Meteor, Tailwind
- Pokémon Moon
- Level: 60
- Ability: Levitate
- Moves: Luster Purge, Dragon Pulse, Psycho Shift, Dragon Breath
Meanwhile, Latias will be available to Ultra Sun and Sun players and, like Latios, will be at a different level and have a different move set, depending on which game you download it to:
- Pokémon Ultra Sun
- Level: 100
- Ability: Levitate
- Held Item: Gold Bottle Cap
- Mist Ball, Psychic, Draco Meteor, Tailwind
- Pokémon Sun
- Level: 60
- Ability: Levitate
- Moves: Mist Ball, Dragon Pulse, Psycho Shift, Wish
Additionally, from September 3 until September 30 at 6:59 pm PDT, Pokémon Duel players will be able to collect new figures, including [UX] Mega Latios and [UX] Mega Latias as part of the September 2018 Booster Pack. [UX] Mega Latias can change opponents’ Gold Attacks to White Attacks. Players will also want to log in daily from September 3 to September 10 at 7:59 am PDT to receive a free September 2018 Booster and expand their figure collection. A new plate will be available as a login bonus from September 3 to September 18 at 7:59 am PDT, which will increase the damage dealt by [UX] Mega Latios and [UX] Mega Latias by +30.
