Nippon Ichi Software, the company best known for the Disgaea series of strategy RPGs, will be continuing their support of Nintendo Switch with a new game that will kick off an original IP- Lapis Li Abyss.
While the developer is generally known for strategy games, this upcoming title is an action RPG, albeit with some new, unique mechanics. Like in many RPGs, players will construct parties from several different classes, only this time your four chosen characters will stack on top of one another. Unfortunately, we don’t know what exactly this means for gameplay yet. However, it has been announced that the game will be divided up into separate missions and that it features more than 100 baddies to battle.
So far, Lapis Li Abyss has only received a Japanese release date, November 29, but given the publisher’s history, a release in other markets is likely.
