It’s a well-established fact at this point that any game is instantly made better by the inclusion of a jet pack. Now, if you’re making a game about cavemen, such an inclusion might seem out of place, but developer 7Levels isn’t letting that stop them! Behold, the first Switch game about a caveman with a jet pack.
Jet Kave Adventure tells the story of Kave, a club-wielding former chief who was banished by his tribe, but things start looking up for him, literally, when he finds a jet pack. Using these tools, you’ll make your way through side-scrolling stages made from 3D assets and face down the threat posed by an alien invader. Judging by the trailer, the visuals look exceptionally detailed and colorful and the gameplay appears to feature plenty of unique mechanics.
The premise and footage certainly looks promising, and we won’t have to wait to see how it holds up in our hands. Jet Kave Adventure releases exclusively for Switch on September 17 for $19.99.
