While the rest of world was playing Splatoon 2 to decide whether flight or invisibility was the better super power (the former took home the win), Japan began prepping for their next Splatfest. The country’s next competition is a collaboration with McDonald’s, where gamers will have to take sides and duke it out to determine whether French Fries or Chicken McNuggets are the fast food chain’s tastiest treat.
The Splatfest will start at 3 PM JST on September 9 and run for 24 hours. And while I might not be competing, I’ll be cheering for the fries.
