It’s been a busy day for Nintendo and its fans, but perhaps one person whose day is even fuller than anyone else’s is beloved secretary Isabelle. The assistant to every Animal Crossing mayor, the plucky pup is in a perpetual state of motion, constantly typing up reports and taking care of the day-to-day needs of villagers and their needs. It would only make sense that someone who probably has a lot of pent up aggression inside would be a fit fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate! That’s right, Isabelle is officially part of the roster!
What’s more, Animal Crossing is finally coming to Nintendo Switch. There were no screenshots or details given, although this writer suspects that the animation of Isabelle in city hall was likely plucked straight from the upcoming game (pure speculation, folks). Regardless, it’s exciting news, as many have been longing for the series to finally come to Nintendo’s hybrid home/portable console.
