Inti Creates, the studio behind hits like the Mega Man Zero and Gunvolt series, has a new game on the way. Billed as a 2D action game, fans will immediately notice hints of other retro classics like Castlevania and Mega Man. Grim Guardians: Demon Purge is the name of the game, and you can get a glimpse of it right here:
Grim Guardians starts two sisters, Shinobu Kamizono and Maya Kamizono. The duo must challenge a demon castle that has suddenly appeared where their school once was. The sisters can be switched between at will during gameplay, but they can also each be controlled independently by two players in co-op. Finally, there’s a highly customizable difficulty options dubbed the Styles System where players can tweak the challenge to their liking.
Sadly, there’s no release date or window yet for Grim Guardians, but if nothing else it looks to be shaping up to be another gem from Inti Creates. Tell us what you think about the game so far in the comments!
