Nintendo announced during its Nintendo Indie Direct this past Tuesday that popular PC and mobile game Among Us is now available for purchase off of the eShop. Among Us was originally released in 2018 but became a sensation during stay at home orders due to COVID-19. The gameplay is similar to the 1982 film, The Thing, where players try to determine the identity of the imposter before they are all killed. There is no escape, everyone is trapped on a spaceship and must either identify the imposter and eject them or finish all their tasks before the majority of the crew is killed.
Among Us is great for casual and hardcore gamers alike. Test your ability to discern lies from truths while also testing your friendships! The game can be played with four to ten players locally or online. Purchase of Nintendo Online is necessary for online play. The game is priced at five dollars.
