Monument Valley, for those who played it when it launched on mobile back in 2014, left quite the impression. Developer UsTwo Games further reinforced how mobile can be a viable platform for legitimate video game experiences and earned quite a lot of good faith from fans, as a result. Now, during today’s Nintendo Indie World showcase revealed that the studio’s next game, Alba: A Wildlife Adventure, will be launching on Nintendo Switch in spring of 2021.
So, what is Alba all about? Here’s the rundown of what the game has in store:
Join Alba, a young activist as she sets out to save a beautiful island and its wildlife.
Alba: a Wildlife Adventure is a new tale from the creators of Monument Valley and Assemble with Care. When Alba visits her grandparents on a Mediterranean island, she is ready for a peaceful summer of wildlife exploration with her friend Ines. But when she sees an animal in danger, she realizes she needs to do something about it!
There’s no firm release date just yet, but given the pedigree of talent behind Alba, we’re prepared to wait until the game is good and ready. In the interim, sound off below and online to let us know what you think about Alba so far.
