Despite the lack of 3DS announcements at this year’s E3, we can at least still look forward to a release on the New 3DS this week as publisher Turtle Cream is bringing Total Battery’s I.F.O. to the handheld via the eShop.
This “old school LCD-style shoot ’em up game” features gameplay that seems to draw inspiration from Time Pilots and Luftrausers, and involves shooting down UFOs and saving animals that have been kidnapped by aliens. Watch the trailer below to see it all in action, including an homage to Game & Watch Octopus:
