BadLand Games, the publisher behind the recent Axiom Verge port on Switch, has announced a brand-new title for Nintendo’s handheld hybrid. Developed by aheartfulofgames, Heart & Slash is a 3D, roguelike brawler about a robot named Heart, struggling to maintain its independence. When Heart falls for a robot named Slash, players will have to decide the best way to impress the latter robot, and each decision will play a role in how the game ends.
With 75 different weapons and 60 different body parts, Heart & Slash features a lot of different opportunities for customization. These aren’t simply different gun types, either! Different weapons allow players to fly, stop time and more as players attempt to discover each enemy’s strengths and weaknesses; according to BadLand Games, players will encounter 93 different enemies across the game’s 71 levels.
