Over the last few years, Grezzo has become one Nintendo’s most celebrated development partners. The Japanese company has been responsible for the excellent 3DS remakes of Ocarina of Time and Majora’s Mask as well asĀ Ever Oasis, an original creation. Now, the team looks like it is expanding as it continues on to its next game.

Grezzo is currently looking to add experienced programmers and designers to their payroll, and people are paying attention to the job listings to glean some potential information about their upcoming projects. The designer positions focus on 3D character, environment, and effects work which at least seems to suggest they won’t be hopping on the bandwagon of retro-inspired sprite-based graphics. The programmer positions are a little more interesting in that among the many tools and systems they want their new hires to have experience with, they specifically mention Unity and Unreal engines, which could point to them moving away from 3DS development.

One thing almost certain to drive speculation is the inclusion of one particular phrase in the listings: Grezzo wants people interested in “making a legend together.” Naturally, this will compel people to think that they might be working on another Zelda remake, but that’s pure speculation at this point. For now, we’ll just have to wait for future announcements.
