I imagine that many of you, much like myself, have collected more than a few Pokémon cards over the years– hundreds maybe, if not thousands. However, I doubt you got your hands on quite as many as UK artist Quentin Devine, nor did you likely find quite as interesting a use for them.
Using 12,987 Pokémon cards, Devine constructed a 12-meter-by-7-meter Pikachu card mosaic that has just been unveiled in Paris. Though the pictures released of the exhibit make it hard to differentiate the individual cards in the piece, the majority appear to be made up, quite appropriately, of Electric Energy cards.
Like many of the recent Pokémon-related events and releases, this work of art is meant to celebrate the creature-catching franchise’s 20th anniversary. Personally, I think a giant version of the first Charizard card would have been more impressive.

Did a bulk selloff around 9 months ago and unloaded 27,000 of them. So nyah.
Although this is admittedly a much more awesome use of them.
