Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective was one of the surprise announcements during the February Nintendo Direct broadcast. The 2011 Nintendo DS game has become something of a cult classic in the years since its launch, but few expected to see it come back for modern consoles. As it so happens, Capcom was indeed keen on bringing the game back but the question of when exactly it would arrive remained. Now we know: June 30, 2023!
During yesterday’s Capcom Spotlight showcase, Capcom announced the release date alongside some further details about the game. First off, the soundtrack has been completely rearranged, with players able to choose between listening to the new and the original versions of the music. Next, the game will be available both digitally and physically. If you pre-order Ghost Trick you’ll get access to four in-game side banners and two additional music tracks.
