GameStop Distribution of Shiny Zacian Underway

Good news, Trainers: if you’ve been wanting to add a couple of shiny Legendary Pokémon to your collection, GameStop has a distribution event you’ll want to take part in. Beginning today, anyone with a copy of Pokémon Shield can come into any GameStop location in the US and Canada and receive a code to download a rare shiny Zacian. This promotion will last until November 18.

Shiny Zamazenta, meanwhile, will become available for download beginning November 18 and remain so until November 26. As is typically the case, to download either Pokémon, simply enter the code in-game from the promo card you receive. North America Trainers in the US and Canada will be heading to GameStop, while European Trainers will be off to a mix of GAME, GameStop, and other retailers.

Here’s a bit more about the special Legendaries from The Pokémon Company:

Zacian and Zamazenta were introduced as Legendary Pokémon when the Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield games were first released. In its Crowned Sword form, Zacian is a Fairy- and Steel-type Pokémon that holds a sword in its mouth and attacks with grace, and Zamazenta—when it’s in Crowned Shield form—is a Fighting- and Steel-type Pokémon that has a shield-covered body and regal movements.
