In the Nintendo 64 era, it seemed that 3D platformers were everywhere. Super Mario 64 started a trend that lasted throughout the entire console generation and inspired a number of other games and mascots. These days, however, the 3D platformer has become far less common. FreezeME, from developer Rainy Night Creations, looks like it will help to rectify that situation, giving Wii U owners a fun throwback to that particular era.
Today, Rainy Night Creations announced that FreezeME will arrive on the Wii U eShop on February 4. Early adopters will also receive a special promotion if they download the game during launch week. The game will be available at a discount price of $9.99. The following week, the cost will go up to $13.99. We’ve embedded a trailer below for those still on the fence!

I will be adopting this game, so to speak. I supported the Kickstarter and the game looks better now, so I see no reason to alter the judgment I made when I pledged that support.
Looks like a good Mario 64 clone. Plus, can use a NORMAL controller instead of being stuck with wiggle controls. Never heard of the game until now, but I want it!
