The Pokémon Company has installed five newly designed manhole covers with special Pokémon themes around Higashiōsaka City. The idea of these themed manhole covers designed by the Pokémon Co. is to help create an innovative boost for tourism. These sets of manhole covers include a special electric-type legendary Pokémon, Raikou. Also included in these designs are:
- Magnemite and Magneton
- Klink and Klang
- Elekid and Mawile
- Yamper
- Raikou.
The exciting thing is that Higashiōsaka City is just the newest location for these amazing Pokémon themed manhole covers. You can find other awesome Pokémon designs on the streets of Japan’s Osaka Prefecture as well as Tokyo.
