Nintendo has announced that in the 18 months since release, Fire Emblem Heroes has generated more than $400 million across both the App Store and Google Play.
Since early 2017, the game has made around $20 million a month on average, with June 2018 interestingly being the second highest earning month since launch. It also seems that Japan is responsible for a large proportion of the revenue (56%), with the U.S. following at 31%.
Nintendo has toyed around with different models for selling games on mobile and it is clear that Fire Emblem Heroes has been by the far the most successful so far. For comparison, Super Mario Run has generated roughly $64 million, with Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp at around $42 million.
