Over the weekend, rumors began swirling about a potential SNK representative in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Today, Nintendo made it official with the revelation that Fatal Fury’s Terry Bogard will be joining the game this November!
The rumor certainly proved controversial among fans. Naturally, social media was inundated with opinions on the matter, with some arguing that SNK didn’t deserve one of the limited character spots left in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Nintendo quieted those voices, however, with the additional announcement that more DLC fighters will arrive after the initial five! Regardless, SNK is a well-established voice in the industry, and Terry’s presence will give the title even more representation from classic publishers.
Those weren’t the only Smash-related announcements, however. Banjo-Kazooie is now available in the game! A number of new Mii Fighter costumes have also been added, including Team Rocket, Zero, Proto Man, Goemon and Undertale’s Sans. The latter is also accompanied by a brand-new track composed by Toby Fox.
What do you think about Terry’s inclusion? Are you happy to hear more fighters will be coming to the game? Let us know in the comments below!
